Special Exhibit: Reaching for the Moon
July 20, 2019 @ 10:00 am - April 12, 2020 @ 5:00 pm
The moon has long fascinated humanity, looming large in the sky and in our imaginations.
Early astronomers helped us understand the cycles of the Moon and its effects on the Earth. Advancement in technology and the means to travel into space, first with probes and then with astronauts, has further expanded our knowledge of this celestial object. Reaching for the Moon is a special exhibit at Tellus Science Museum that examines the overall impact of lunar exploration over the last 60 years and how our understanding on the Moon has changed.
