Make a Valentine’s date with your family for this fun and immersive lecture at Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville, GA. Chocolate is craveable, comforting – and confusing! Join fellow chocolate lover and Tellus Director of Education Cantey Smith as we take a peek into the world of chocolate. Learn about its history and production before sinking your teeth into some tasty morsels.

FREE (with paid museum admission) PLANETARIUM SHOW: The Edge (sneak preview)
The Edge explores the vast and distant region of our solar system beyond the orbit of Neptune. Introducing audiences to Pluto, Charon and the Kuiper Belt, the Oort Cloud and more. This show includes the New Horizons flyby of 2014 MU69.
Recommended for ages 6 and up.
Show times are 5:15 PM, 6 PM, 6:45 PM, 7:30 PM, and 8:15 PM.
OBSERVATORY: Enjoy solar viewing until 6 PM and then as it gets dark, look for Venus, Orion Nebula, Star Clusters M35 and M45, and Double Star Gamma Leo.
